Hello,
here is the last version of smeserver-freepbx available to you !
Please I need you to test it before the final release. The installer works, and I was able to configure a trunk, an extension and routes.
here is the procedure:
https://wiki.contribs.org/FreePBX#tab=SME9
Pay attention it was design to install with upstream repo configured (not with the 1.8 version of asterisk in EPEL). As it is still testing phase all rpm are in smetest.
please update the bug to say you verified :
- https://bugs.contribs.org/show_bug.cgi?id=9493 (freepbx-src)
- https://bugs.contribs.org/show_bug.cgi?id=9495 (smeserver-freepbx)
or report here.
alternatively you can open a new bug for newly discovered problem.
-
Thank you! Will give it a go and report back.
-
had you any chance to test ?
-
Yes, but on a un clean system. Need to give a retry on a clean install. It didn't work, installed fine, but error 500 in SM and a lot of other errors.
-
If you can post the errors on the bugzilla would be great. Thanks for your time.
-
It is out and running

-
Pre-mature release. It contains serious errors.
-
Cool so we will have a lot of bug reports....maybe it is the only way to get some reactions :)
-
Or people did not have the time yet test and to report back. Also my free time is free, for me. Typical again.
Anyway, I will not use the contrib for it modifies and installs too many things on the base distro, and has serious errors.
-
Yep Free is the key and also the hammer we have on our head.

and i acknowledge as i do it typically your own personal free time you did put on this for testing
Anyway, I will not use the contrib for it modifies and installs too many things on the base distro,
It only install all what is needed to run a base freepbx. Funny, you did mention the opposite in the bug tracker that you found it does not install all the freepbx modules you eould like leaving the opportunity to chose.
Again free is the key, even if we have a smeserver-wordpress nobody forces you to use it. You can install your own.
and has serious errors.
Only 2 type of trivial warnings from upstream packages due to the order yum chose to install them that are well documented on the wiki. No impact on functionnality.

please guys can you help
running sme 9.1
when i try to install freepbx - https://wiki.contribs.org/FreePBX#tab=SME9
# yum install smeserver-freepbx --enablerepo=smetest,smecontribs,asterisk-13,asterisk-current,digium-current,digium-13
i get Dependency Issues
--> Finished Dependency Resolution

You could try using --skip-broken to work around the problem
You could try running: rpm -Va --nofiles --nodigest
any ideas

Yes, leave out smetest repo and add epel repo. smetest should not be there at all.
Assuming you defined all repos required incl. epel.

Please report a bug if something is not correct on the wiki page.

thank you for reporting, i updated the wiki to remove the refernce to smetest.
just tested without the smetest, installed without issue.
you just hit the installation when arrived a new version of the audio encoder in it. The package need other external package and I will work on that briefly. waiting for that the one in smecontribs just work !
