Hi there,
im using the Smeserver-vacation contrib from dungog since many years and im happy about the new feature "auto deactivate".
But in practise, this doesnt work. In the backend the message is deactived but if i write a mail to the user, i get the vacation message.
So i have to activated und deactivate the message again.
Anyone got an idea?
Thanks for your help

As of 1.1-19 I've set up 2 new vacations yesterday, period starting yesterday and they didn't even activate... went back to manual.

can you try with the last version I released yesterday, (1.21), normally the fix doesn't concern the version you tested, but ????
you can also launch it manually and see what is broken in /var/log/messages (please report)
check_vacation_dates
@plusplus it seems workable for you ?
By the way :
I added a new functionality (only sme9) you can delegate to somebody, to set the vacation message of users belong in the delegated groups( see the wiki page)
I worked on the translation issue that you might have and display the body of the message in the subject.
I would add a checkbox to select the delegated groups in the user panel, but ATM I'm fighting with formagick.
