Title: Console backup to USB Restore issue

I have mapped a ibay to another hdd in the server under mnt/3rd/ibays/projects.
I also changes the backup path to be included when I do the console backup to usb by editing the /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/esmith/Backup.pm

Everything works as it should, the mapped ibay is included inside the smeserver.tgz file.
The Problem is:
Doing a fresh install - restore from backup - that data does not get restored.

What else do I need to edit or get this to work?

Why don't you mount your additionnal drive directly in /home/e-smith/files/ibays/projects ?

haven't thought of that???
I just followed examples of other people.
Will give it a try.  :-)

That wouldn't explain why your data is not being restored. If it's included in smeserver.tgz, it should be. Are you sure there's nothing in /mnt/3rd/ibays/projects ?

There isn't even a mnt/3rd folder
just the default mnt/smb folder

Then I guess there's something wrong during the backup. The /mnt/3rd/ibays/projects is most likely not included in smeserver.tgz. During the restore, the archive is simply extracted on top of / so everything included gets restored
