Title: Openvpn redirection

Hi friends, i have installed openvpn bridge mode and still default settings are effected. I want to know the internet traffic is also redirected through the vpn connection and if yes how to disable it?

Trafic is not redirected through the VPN on a default install, if you look at the routing part only. But, you can have the web trafic "redirected" because of the proxy autodiscovery feature of IE, which will explicitely use squid (over the VPN). You should disable proxy auto detection if you want to prevent this

Ok daniel. I just asked that question because the uploading speed is bit slow (email delivery through thunderbird and outlook specially) on the server office. normally 3 vpn users are connected everytime over the openvpn bridge. If internet traffice is not transfer through openvpn it is no problem. I will disable internet explorer-->automatic proxy setting and take a look at the speed of my internet line. thanks very much
