Hi Folks,
We are setting a CRM (php 5.6) to use our SME SMTP.
When trying to send an email from the CRM within the SMTP we got this SSL failure:
PHP Warning: stream_socket_enable_crypto(): SSL operation failed with code 1. OpenSSL Error messages:
error:14090086:SSL routines:SSL3_GET_SERVER_CERTIFICATE:certificate verify failed.
Any hint?
Thanks.
Seb.

yes.. if your SME is available from WAN on port 80 and you're not using a .local/.lan domain (i.e. a valid public FQDN), take a look at letsencrypt (https://wiki.contribs.org/Letsencrypt) or buy a valid certificate..
or, if available, disable use of SSL for email from your CRM
