Title: Zoneedit dynamic dns
Post by: Jon on August 30, 2002, 07:49:14 AM
Ive got one last thing to get running on my sme server.
I need to setup my zoneedit dynamic dns.
I cant see anywhere on their site that say what protocol they use, and I dont know where to edit the dyndns stuff in sme to point to the right server anyway.

So far this is the easiest linux setup Ive ever done, and Id hate to get stopped by this last issue.

Jon,

If you search the forum archives (both General and Experienced) and go back more than 30 days, you should find the information you're looking for. FWIW, it's fairly easy to set up, bot on SME and at ZoneEdit.

Excellent. I didnt realise that the search was limited to 30 days.
Now Ive got zoneedit, and I also got my DNS sorted ( ADSL DHCP wasnt supplying the DNS servers ).

Its really starting to hum along.
