Good evening!
Following problem:
if the ibay that is selected as root for the web content of the primary domain has a setup to force the use of https, the administrator/moderator panel of the mailinglists (https:// domain.tld/mailman/admindb/THE_LIST) won't work (every action on this panel will stay without effect).
The reason is that mailman still works in http and the domain is in https.
Solution:
The solution is to configure mailman to use https too. This is quite easy:
- make a backup of /usr/lib/mailman/Mailman/Defaults.py
- edit /usr/lib/mailman/Mailman/Defaults.py
- and replace http through https in the line DEFAULT_URL_PATTERN = 'http://%s/mailman/'
=> if you agree with this, I propose to complete the wiki.
