Hi,
as per subject, a friend of mine has added his sme server account to his outlook (365?) but get's this error.
Anybody any clue? Full headers available on request privately.
TIA!
-
are we talking about the test message sent during account verification?
if so, it's a well known Outlook bug since... well, since Outlook exists (see https://wiki.contribs.org/Email#Outlook_test_message_doesn.27t_come_through)
you can disable the header's check (see the same page, some rows below)
otherwise, give us some more details, thank you

No chance!
Thanks !

ok.. may I guess you don't want to do so?
you can do it just to validate the email account and then re-enable

This shouldn't be needed anymore with sme 9.2 as the date header is now disabled by default
-
well, I guess he can't wait SME 9.2 too
:-D

But the 'error message' was about 'without Date header'..?
-
yes.. outlook sends a message with no "date" header in its test
in SME9.2, with the new qpsmtpd, many things are changed (see https://bugs.contribs.org/show_bug.cgi?id=9773)
