Hi there, welcome here

first of all you'd tell us what you mean with "affa did not work properly" so we'd help you and eventually correct the issue.

if you want to move to a new hardware and you can afford a downtime of your services, you'd use the "backup to workstation" feature, available from Backup and Restore panel in server-manager

the backup to usb directly from console and restore from usb directly at the moment of installation should work fine for most of the case.

you will only need to pay attention to reisntall your contribs, and then check every of your contribs for missing elements : most of the contribs stores elements out of the backuped folders of sme.

It did not work.
"It did not work" is not helpful.  You expected it to do something.  It did something.  All we know from this description is that the something you expected it to do, and the something it did, weren't the same thing.

The simplest answer, especially if you don't have any contribs installed, is to do as @JPP suggested and use the console backup.  After you install 9.1, the first thing it will ask you is whether you want to restore from a backup.  Answer yes, and it will restore your users, data, configuration, etc.
