Title: Issues upgrading from 8.2 to 9
Post by: Arnie on May 30, 2017, 01:48:07 AM
Hi All,

I've been away for a while and have just realised that the EOL date for 8.2 has passed. I'm planning my upgrade to SME9 now but have run into a show stopper.

The newrpms command isn't working because it cannot find a valid base url for the SME8 base repo. I have lost track of the contribs installed on my server and need to run the newrpms command to determine which ones to reinstall.

Is there a way for me to set up a temporary base url to the repo so I can get a list of the installed contribs? Is there any other way to determine which contribs are installed?

Thanks.
