Title: Nagios

I see Nagios still listed for 8.* but not 9.*. I am in need of some serious monitoring software to solve some problems after some employees left. Do the instructions for 8.* apply to 9.*? If not, where can I find?

I have installed arpwatch, which is starting to provide some answers, but need a better and more user friendly solution to the problem please.

 If not Nagios, what can you suggest?

please give a try to zabbix.
As for nagios the learning curve is a bit hard, but it is really powerfull and works great on SME:

maybe this is not the answer you expect, but I suggest you to tell us the problems you have, otherwise (seeing your other posts about zabbix) we'd fall into a classical X Y problem (http://xyproblem.info/) case..

maybe you can solve your issues without installing anything on your server
