Title: netinst question
Post by: morpheus on July 09, 2017, 02:36:21 AM
I am trying to do netinst of 10.0alpha3. All is working, except unable to work out what I should be entering for the installation source repository. What should I enter?

One of the mirrors should do the job

http://mirror.canada.pialasse.com/releases/testing/10.0.alpha3/smeos/x86_64/SME/

I think :-)

Keeps coming with error setting the repository for your entry, and the one I was trying:
http://mirror.contrib.org/releases/10.0.alpha3/smeos/x86_64 (with and without trailing /)

or

http://mirror.contribs.org/releases/testing/10.0.alpha3/smeos/x86_64 (with and without trailing /)

I am getting a 404 not found on that

I would have thought this should work..  :-(

mirror.canada.pialasse.com/releases/testing/10.0.alpha3/smeos/x86_64

Just used the above as the network URL and it went OK..

Also had mirror.contribs.org/releases/testing/sme10.0.alpha3/smeos/x86_64 as additional repo and marked as a mirror url

Installer used the network url to download packages

While I was able to conduct an install, I was not able to configure sme server, ended up with a centos 7 minimal and centos 7 branded install and a half baked sme server install that errored when trying to do initial config and set server password..

Subsequent reboot and try and config from console produces following error:
"Cant call method "prop" on an undefined value at /usr/share/perl5/vendor_perl/esmith/ConfigDB/unsaved.pm line 45

Bug to be raised against the Netinstall ISO Bug 10377
