Hi,
I'm trying to get ez publish (ez.no) installed in an ibay. Everything works just fine. But i cannot seem to get access to the admin part of the web site which normally is called "admin.sitename.suffix". The Ez publish manual tells us that we should create a virtual host in the httpd.conf.
But i remember that e-smith takes care of the httpd.conf file.
I tried creating a host entry for the virtual domain with the right name but this still does not work. I cannot seem to find it in the httpd.conf file.
How would i go about to change the httpd.conf file without having e-smith destroying my settings ??
Best Regards
Lasse

When you DO get it all working, can you write up a howto detailing how you got it all installed and working? I've been looking at ezpublish, but don't have the time to figure out how to get it going on SME...
Thanks

Hi,
Will do ..... have seen a couple of descriptions on how to do it on ezpublish's site that looks a bit advanced. But as far as i can see right now .. it's not that difficult ! (well not yet at least ;))
The biggest problem is getting all those additional RPM's for handling graphics installed.
Best Regards

Lasse,
I also am looking at ez Publish as a CMS on e-Smith. What has been your experience with the product so far? Any luck with the howto?
Thanks,
jim
