I can not connect Outlook from Windows Mobile 6.5 to email server on SME Server 9.2

I have configured an email account in Outlook on an Intermec CN51 terminal with Windows Embedded Handheld 6.5 Professional.

Outlook displays the error "A secure Sockets Layer (SSL) connection could not be established."

On MS Server 9.2 in the Dovecot log is displayed the error "imap-login: Info: Disconnected (no auth attempts): Rp = ..., lip = ..., TLS handshaking: SSL_accept : SSL23_GET_CLIENT_HELLO: unknown protocol "

SME Server settings:
E-mail retrieval mode:   Standard (SMTP)
SMTP authentication:   Allow both SMTP and SSMTP
