Title: Hard Drive Installation
Post by: T-Dog on September 08, 2002, 09:32:34 PM
Hi, I have 20gig worth of files on my hard drive in my e-smith box. Now I am a little more familiar with using Linux I have decided to move from e-smith to SuSE 8.0.

What I would like to do is, take the hard drive out of my e-smith box and install it as a slave in the SuSE box. Will I be able to simply remove and install it because it is already a Linux formated drive?

Or will I need to do more on the SuSE box?

The Hard Drive can be mounted as any other Linux formatted drive in Suse.
