Title: AFFA not emailing

I have two sme servers... one as my main server and the other one is an affa backup server.

I am not getting email updates from my server anymore telling me my weekly info. I panicked today thinking my backups are not working, thankfully that is not the case.

It seems like my only real issue is my backup server is no longer able to send emails.

I did a test from the affa server and nothing happened :

[root@smenew ~]# affa --mailtest backup-smeserver Testmail sent to me@test.ca Watchdog testmail from 192.168.0.55 sent to me@test.ca
192.168.0.55 is my main mail server being backed up :)

I am wondering how to troubleshoot this as it would be nice to get my weekly backup updates again or any email issues and I am not sure why it stopped working... Any info is appreciated.

Should see some action in both

How long since this occurred, and anything that might have prompted it eg updates?

I hear that what I mean by updates is the emails that update me on how the backups went. I am checking the logs now thanks for some direction I will get back to you

No, what I meant was 'is your server fully updated' ?

What version of affa are you using?

Exactly when did this occur, and what did you change to trigger it (something must have happened as things rarely just 'break')?

Affa version 3.2.2.3-8

SME 9.2

It seems to have occurred after I had installed nrpe. That question helped me as I was trying to think if I made changes. My main server works well so I am not sure if it actually broke anything... checking logs now...

If so then check qpsmtpd logs on the receiving mail server to see why it is blocking connections.
