Title: Testing sme10 in a non critical environment
Post by: jameswilson on May 19, 2019, 04:14:00 PM
i have a sme 9 server that i need to upgrade mysql on. Im wondering if i should use sme 10 as a test system in  a real environment?
I have installed fine alpha 4 and applied all updates. I was thinking of adding the sme9 contribs repo to provide idiot user feedback too
But wonder if i will cause more problems than i solve?

Please rather use mysql software collection. There is a contrib for it on sme 9. Either mysql55 or mysql57.

Sme 10 needs active developers to get out of alpha.
