Title: Lun support for the Kernel
Post by: adam on September 13, 2002, 11:55:01 AM
I have been trying to get my HP dds-3 tape backup drive to work on e-smith. It is an autoloader with 6 cassettes. I have installed tapeware and evertything can be detected properly except for the tape itself.
From the tapeware documentation i gather that i have to compile LUN support into the kernel. Is this true? And if so will it impact on anything else? I do not now that else e-smith has compiled into the redhat 7.2 kernel.
Some information would be much appreciated.

Thank you,
Adam
