Title: VPN network : Help
Post by: John Morrison on September 13, 2002, 05:58:50 PM
Just need a nudge in the right direction.

I need to set up a permanent VPN connection from home (Running E-smith 5.5) to work where they have a CUBE 3.  Between Cubes it's Easy (All on menus) but E-smith doesn't seem to have an option to set up VPN connections.

I've done a far bit of searching and all I can find is that I have to buy Service link....
What am I missing.....can't even find a how-to for it.....

HELP is greatly appreciated
Thank You
John Morrison

Do a search for IPSEC and/or FreeS/WAN.

search under devinfo lists and advanced lists as the issue has been mentioned before, Think it was a shell command required.

It worked in 5.1.2 but is not quite there in 5.5

Good luck in your search.

Gavin

Well I'm still hinting for it. :-(

Can't find any mention of it on any of the forums. :-(

Anyone help this is wasting a lot of time for a job that should have been so simple.

THANKS
John
