Title: Migrate IMAP data from SME 9 to Suite accounts?

Hi Folks,


Can anyone assist with transferring mail account data from a 9.x SME server to the same accounts on a new G-Suite configuration?  I've tried to use the G-Suite migration process for generic IMAP servers, but can't seem to get things going.  I'm getting stressed-out users because they are getting their new mail, but their folders and saved emails are not available.


Has anyone done this successfully?

The migration assistant needs to connect the IMAP server for EACH user account.

• Make sure that the IMAP/IMAPS are enabled (I mistakenly disabled them originally)
• In the G Suit Migration web app, add your users along with their password. (you can use a csv file as described in the G Suite migration help)
• Be very, very patient :-?

I don't think so...... certainly not if you value your or your clients/users privacy.
