Salve,

stamani ho notato un alert sul mio SME che mi avvisava di passare alla versione 10 in quanto la 9 non verrà piu supportata da fine mese.
La SME 10 ho visto essere ancora in alpha, per cui la mia domanda è che affidabilità posso avere dalla versione alpha?
Considerate che l'utilizzo come server mail con circa 500 account e un invio giornaliero di 3.000 mail.....
Inoltre a ruota dovrebbero seguire altri 4 SME usati come File Server....

Alpha is.... Alpha. Unless you are very careful it is easy to break it.

Lo chiedo in italiano, ma potete rispondere anche in inglese che lo capisco. Non lo scrivo perché ho paura di strafalcionare.

C'è qualche aspetto particolare da testare nella versione 10? Mi spiego meglio. Testare la distribuzione in generale mi sembra un po' dispersivo, mentre se mi devo concentrare su una funzione (o più di una) mi sembra più indicato.

Use the latest Alpha ISO.

Then look here.

You need to update, then update from smeupdates-testing.

It is hard to be specific on things to test as it is moving fast.

Look at the bugs/verifcations etc.

But most important just try EVERYTHING and try to break it.

Thank you very much.
I've installed Ten in a vm driven by Proxmox and updated with a "yum update".
Now I start to test it.

Giornata un po 'importante :-), ha raggiunto i 100 bug verificati (in attesa di rilascio), quasi tutto a che fare con quella cosa meravigliosa systemd ... come ha detto John, girando di casa, traguardo in vista (speriamo) : - )
