Hi everyone!
I use e-smith as a server and gateway, and as I use MS Messenger a lot, I´ve started looking for a way to get voice&video to work throug the firewall. I´ve started looking in this forum and found a couple of usefull links to other sites, among them www.e-infomax.com/ipmasq/matrix22.html. There was some downloads that I thought could help me. But as I run into some problems (must I say I´m a Linux newbie?), it looked that it wouldn´t be as easy as I thought from the beginning.
But as I search the e-smith server for some other files, i stumbeled upon some files that said "ip_masq_h323-2.2.0" and "10masq_323". Isn´t this the files that should let my v&v through the firewall? Is it something that SHOULD work from the beginning, but dosn´t on my box, or is it something that has to be installed or something?
Looking forward to an uplightning answer, Rikard
(Excuse me for my poor english, it´s not my native language.)

Thanks Nathan, but it didn´t really answer my questions:
Is that file a pre-maid masqfile for the voice&video traffic, just to enable somehow?

Your E-smith 5.5 should already enable H.323 masquerading, the links I provided actually enable the port forwarding to allow incoming calls. I believe by default you can only initiate those calls, not receive them.
