Title: 8th Oct 2021 - Koozali infrastructure upgrade - downtime expected
Post by: ReetP on October 07, 2021, 05:41:11 PM
We have some hardware maintenance to do on the infrastructure.

As a result the servers will be down from around 14.30 CEST/Paris time - 12.30 UTC

I can't say how long it will be for, but we hope not too long.

My Rocket.Chat server that I host for Koozali will not affected.

Paypal will still be open for donations..... :-)

Thank you for your patience.

Edited to the correct date

The maintenance will be tomorrow, on the 8th. For the duration, I'd say somewhere between 1h30 and 3h

The hardware maintenance went well, but we had a boot issue after that (UEFI vs software RAID, what a nightmare). As I wasn't available yesterday in the evening, the server stayed down for ~18h. Anyway, everything is now up and running again, and a RAID rebuild is currently ongoing (should last for the next 15h or so, so you can expect some slowdowns until then)
