not sure if this page is generated by php, but if I do ps -A, there are loads 30+ copies of php-fpm running
-
Hi. That looks ugly.
I think you are caught between two packages trying to update via this bug
https://bugs.koozali.org/show_bug.cgi?id=11717
not sure if this page is generated by php
No,we use perl ;-)
It is PHP that is throwing an error.
This needs a comment from Jean Philippe - he'll be about in a couple of hours and I will ping him.
Is it still just hung there?
-
yes still stuck
-
Is it ok to reconfigure the server?
-
finally the reconfigure button on the page, I clicked that and the mains screen saida stop job is running for http-admin and counted down for 1min 30s, then rebooted
-
only bug here is libsodium not updated while it should as it is available on smeupdates.
there are chances the yum panel has hang in refreshing because of timeout it is a known issue and has already two bugs
cvm unix is just noise when one tries to log as a nom existing user on qpsmtpd.
you have php pool from 5.4 to 8.1 running with at least one process per ibay so no issue with high number of php process.
if you just installed and you have aslow machine it could take up to 24 hour to build the diffie hellman parameter for dovecot and this could slow the machine for some elements like running signal event.
only information that would have been usefull here is
/sbin/e-smith/audittools/events
/sbin/e-smith/audittools/templates
/sbin/e-smith/audittools/newrpms
and a copy of htop using tree view after searching signal-event , but too late for this one.
-
Thanks for reply, this is the output from the three commands:
[root@server ~]# /sbin/e-smith/audittools/events
[root@server ~]# /sbin/e-smith/audittools/templates
/etc/e-smith/templates-custom/etc/dar/DailyBackup.dcf/90slice: MANUALLY_ADDED, OVERRIDE
[root@server ~]# /sbin/e-smith/audittools/newrpms

ok after another investigation. it seems that during the event httpd-e-smith is restarted and it could stop the window to refresh so you have the impression it is stuck. but this is really just the display not the update process.
one way to be sure is to open a console.
type htop
type t to display a tree view
press f3 and search for yum.
if it is still running you will see its childs including the event running with its own childs. if nothing is running it should have ended.
