I have an existing 10.0 install running on a server with a single hard drive. I want to add a second drive to get software RAID 1.
On previous SME versions, you simply plug in a second drive. Now from the docs, I understand that if SME 10 is installed to a single drive, RAID is not enabled. The how to for adding a second drive assumes SME 9.0 or earlier.
Is is correct to say that a reinstall onto a pair of drives is the only way to get RAID 1 with 10.0?
Thanks,
Barry.

At simplesest Yes, there is no paddle :-) ..see here - https://forums.koozali.org/index.php/topic,54389.msg284647.html#msg284647
Also in that post Note ref to centos and manually adding HD and raid1 setup
and this discussion is also very interesting re adding a array for data to an existing setup

not only way but simpler and reasonable way.
you still can create a new degraded array and rsync your sme files on it ans make it bootable.
that is quite a journey, not impossible… but out of what most SME admins are intended to do.
so back to square one. backup and restore to new install.
