It is in alpha stage, imported but no testing, you could help by doing so, see the bug and add any observations there, works no signs of error etc

i already and there were no pages shown in the panel, if i try to install using the repo it says no package available.

# yum --enablerepo=smecontribs,smedev install smeserver-mxbackup certainly installs it...did a reboot and logged into serevr-manager relevant m,enu item and pages are there..
as I said, it is in alpha, why you need to also enable the smedev repo, you can help by installing using and reporting in the bug quoted above

disclaimers
1 do not do that on a production server.
2 also do not enable smedev with a simple yum update or you will install a lot of defunct rpms that did not make it to production for a reason.
3 be prepare to have to help to make it working.

as this was a different question from initial post i split the topic in two thread and move this one to contrib forum after renaming it accordingly.
this will help you obtaining an answer to your initial question in initial post
