Hello,
I've been asked to set up a remote teleworker to access files on a central Koozali server. So far we've tried remote access software (radmin) and then using a VPN. Radmin was a bit clunky and relied on someone turning on a computer in the office. The VPN works fine, but file transfers are very slow, which I understand is due to the SMB protocol not being designed for this sort of work.
I was wondering if installing the NextCloud contrib might make file access faster, or at least appear a bit faster. I've not done anything with NextCloud, but from what I can see it is very similar to dropbox or onedrive. Ideally I'd like to make the ibays on Koozali available to the remote user. Thanks in anticipation.

Nextcloud all the way.
there are two ways : using the web interface or using the client.
the client allows for windows and linux(experimental) to sync only a squeletton of your share and sync only files already accessed. or the default is to choose the folders to keep in sync. then you need a hard drive big enough to fit the data.

Thank you. Much appreciated. :-)
