Post by: VoiDeT on September 24, 2002, 02:35:14 PM
Hello everyone,
i am fairly new to SME and linux to that matter. But i have been learning up on the commands and i have come across a "Make" command which is followed by "Make Install" am i right? well i tried to put in "Make" and various other forms and it says unknown command! I searched up on it all and i eventually got to GNU site which had the make program. Tried that but it came back with heaps of errors! can someone please help me to get this command up and running! i am dying here. Thank you

Just install the RPMs for your version (5.0-5.1.2 or 5.5). There's even an install script provided.
