I proud to announce that I'm not willing to pay 480$ for a licens, for my private mail server!!!

I also think that ther "ought" to be an open source Anti Virus solution for SME customers, and private users.  It is in our (and the internet community) interest to promote this.

I currently run Clamav as a regular scan on my servers, but have not been able to integrate it with Qmail to do email scanning as the email arrives.  I think this is mainly due to my own in-expertise, but have been unable to get any help either here or on other lists.

If there is someone out there running this combination I'd be delighted to hear from you.

Hi Darrell,

What version of RAV should I be using for 5.5?  I installed the recommended version from RAV (ravqmail-8.4.0-4.i386.rpm), installed my key, got the license and version data to show up, however, no RAV in the admin control panel and it stops all mail coming and going.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Also, I haven't seen a decent howto on installing it anywhere.
