Title: stupid hdd partitionning problem..
Post by: da5id on October 04, 2002, 04:18:41 AM
Hi all

I installed sme 5.5 with no fuss, now it is a standalone server doing http / FTP /  Webmail /Fileserver / Domain Controller / MP3 Jukebox 8)

But I did something stupid...

I installed with 2 HDDs, 8 Gigs I intended to use as "system" and a 20 gigs that was to become the "/home"

But I didn't get to choose the partitionning of the drives (next version option ? 8)

now, I have 14 Megs used as  "/boot" on the 8 Gigs, and everything is on the 20...
And didn't find the howto on onstalling a new hard drive, and all I really need to do is activate and mount the remaining place on the 8 gigs disk... I'll mount it later as a fileserver share or something...

Now (sorry for newbie question) how do I achieve that ?
