I'm new to linux and have just installed E-Smith 5.1.2 to act as a gateway to share internet access to 2 other computers using WINME and one using XPHOME
When E-smith starts to dial the connection, I get a dial tone and a lot of beeps but I can't hear any numbers being dialed. For some reason its just not dialing the numbers.
I have tried using init strings, but to no avail.
My modem is a 56K V.90 Speed Demon External
