Anyone have any ideas why I'm getting the following message to the FaxMaster alias

I have recycled the modem (external unit) AND rebooted the SME v 5.1.2 server. I am running Darrel May's Hylafax product. Any other things I can do to diagnose the problem? Thanks.

Please direct your enquiries to Darell or his bulletin boards. This board is "intended for technical discussions related to the e-smith software".
Thanks

Charlie,
I appreciate your tip; however, as this software is running on SME/e-smith server...I would say that this is a "technical discussion" relating to SME/e-smith. Many folks that frequent these phorums ask questions about all kinds of "add on" software which runs on their servers - so this question falls well within those boundaries. Simply because my version of Hylafax is 'packaged' by Darrell doesn't bar me from this venue.
I have been a strong advocate of SME/e-smith since July, 2001 when I began searching for an easy and stable alternative to NT4/Win2k. I have setup and installed servers for several businesses and friends, and as a Windoze systems manager I recommend SME to many of my friends in the business. I would suggest that my recommendations and the publicity I give to SME/e-smtih entitles me to ask as many questions as I'd like - if you don't want to respond then don't.
For those of you that may also be running HylaFax on your servers - I welcome your responses. Thanks.
Regards,
Patrick

There are a number of significant differences. The source code for Hylafax as packaged by Darrell isn't available to anyone else (it's not a GPL package), so only Darrell can help you. And I believe that you have paid for the Hylafax package, so you are entitled to support from the supplier.
