Title: Chmod a file in the html folder. How?
Post by: Joe on October 13, 2002, 04:01:13 AM
I want to try some php scripts for things like guestbooks, etc.  All of them say I need to chmod this or that file to make them work ( I guess they need to record some info in a file or something ).

I am familiar with doing chmod in unix, but I cannot see how a user of an ibay on the SME server can chmod a file in their on html folder.  WSFTP did not allow it when I tried that.

Suggestions?

Thanks

Try using the console and not an ftp program.
