Title: Wrong ethernet driver loaded
Post by: Ludovic CINTRAT on October 15, 2002, 01:46:31 PM
Hello,

I installed a SME 5.1.2, and one of the two ethernet adapters is a netgear FA311. So, i downloaded the RPMs made by Charlie Brady, but i can't find the driver in the configuration view. To try the driver, I load it manually and it works. So, i modified /home/e-smith/configuration and /etc/modules.conf by the hand. But when i reboot, it loads the wrong driver (and rectify the /etc/modules.conf). So, my question is: which file(s) i must edit to make SME load the right driver (i.e. fa311.o)?

PS: the fa311 card is my external network controller

Thanks
