Title: Cannot upload to websites
Post by: Jesper Bille Haun on October 18, 2002, 08:37:03 PM
I am using SME 5.5 as a gateway. Suddenly I cannot upload large files to websites with HTTP. And it seems to be all websites.

I has noting to do with PHP. I looks like my system block the upload procedure.

What a stupid configuration...

I have spend hours on this problem, and I have solved it.

The default Squid configuration only allows a header of max 10 KB and a body of max 1 MB.

That basically prevents me from uploading large files to any website.

In which file do you changed these defaults?
I found no mention to these parameters at /etc/squid/squid.conf just at squid.conf.default and how they are commented out they appear not to be the problem!

I´m asking because I send a 15MB file to myself by e-mail and was unable to save it using webmail!

Thanks!

Your problem is not the same as mine. Your problem is described and solved in the SME FAQ.
