Title: NAT at remote site and SME?
Post by: Vince Levalois on October 30, 2002, 11:39:08 PM
Hello!

I'm interested in finding out if anyone knows how to deal with the following challenge:

Customer has an SME installed at their main location running an IPSEC VPN to a remote location that has NAT enabled, wich 2 clients on private IPs via DHCP.

I do not want to have to open ports or have to establish dedicated IPs for the clients everytime they move from location to location (they are laptops)...

Does the SME provide a solution similar to NETSCREEN VPN solutions?

Thanks in advance to any help anyone may provide.

Follow Up:

Do you HAVE to have an SME at each site to enable IPSEC VPN???  I've been told this, which make it very unafordable for sites with say, 2 users.

Is the only alternative a Netscreen VPN appliance for NAT Traversal?

Any help would be very appreciated.
