Title: How do I use make in e-smith?

We are developing a program in perl and one of the perl module needs compilation.
We couldn't find a make to compile this perl module with. Any one can please tell me if which module is needed to compile the code. This perl module is for cgi scpriting and does session management. I am new to e-smith and not sure how to go about it. Thank you so much for your help.
