Hello All
I downloaded and installed without a problem so far so good.
Up to date I have been using freesco as a modem router for lans and it works like a charm for just a modem router.
I am going to suggest to my customers that they migrate to e-smith as it is a straightforward linux distro.
I would welcome any comments in regards to stability, security. I was also thinking it would be a good low cost solution as a file/print server for small business, again any thoughts would be appreciated.
Lastly I don't quite get the service link component. Maybe I'm not looking in the correct areas I can't find any reference to pricing on this option. I like the look of the visus scanning.

I have seen my and other peoples installations of e-smith running faultlessly for over 12 months. Keep up with the patches and you'll be more secure than any Microsoft product out of the box.

If you want to read more on the ServiceLink aspect of this product try the following URL

Additionally, I have had this server running for nearly 2 years, and have had to reboot twice. Once when I moved to a dynamic DNS service and second when I upgraded the system.
