Title: Dial on demand internet

If I have a modem connected to my e-smith server and enter my dialup isp information will it dialup and connect when a client machine tries to access the internet?

Yes, SME will initiate the connection when a client attempts to use the gateway.  If the user is on a Windows box, the default settings for IE or Outlook Express might time out before the dial up connection is made so a reattempt might be necessary the first time.
