Title: Optus@Home Network

Can any please explain the settings required to configure V5 to conect to Otus@Home. I tried many ways to no avail.

The times I've set up optus connections for people I've set the hostname of the machine to the customer number optus give you, and set the settings to send host identifier for dhcp client on the external interface.

I also recall once I had to force half duplex on the interface, I think...

Hi,

I assume that means in the initial install/setup screens to Configure TCP/IP.  When you set the "use dynamic IP configuation (Bootp/DHCP)" there is a field below that for: "DHCP hostname (optional)".  From memory Optus requires this.
