Title: how to tell if dyndns is running
Post by: Tim on November 21, 2002, 06:46:37 PM
Hey every one, Can someone lead me in the direction of checking ot see if dyndns is starting. I checked ps -A and it's not listed in the processes. It's not performing the update. also if it isn't starting what is the command to start it.

Everything else is working great.

Thanks

Tim

The dynamic dns update scripts run when the IP address changes; they don't stay running as a daemon.  They should also be logging to /var/log/messages.
