Title: Samba 2.2.7?

Hello everyone,

I'm just curious what thoughts the e-smith/SME community has on the latest Samba 2.2.7 release and the associated security warning.  Also, will there be updates for earlier versions of e-smith/SME?  Thanks.

As there's no known exploit and only the potential for one, and last I checked in spite of this being widely acknowledged it hasn't happened yet, I'm not too worried.

Thanks for the input guys.  Darrell, will this 2.2.7 version be compatible with earlier versions of SME, i.e. 4.1.2/5.0/5.1.2?
