Title: Virtual Domains and SSL
Post by: kirstyk on November 26, 2002, 03:44:47 AM
How can one install a security certificate for a virtual domain .
I made a new  virtual.domain.crt, virtual.domain.csr and virtual.domain.key and put the virtual.domain.crt in /home/e-smith/ssl.crt but if I go to url https//virtual.domain I still get the main server cetificate showning,
I used a program ssl.ca-0.1.tar.gz to create the certificate which i read about in these forums.
how does one also make the .key files and where do they go?

You can't. A search for "virtual domain SSL certificate" (all dates) will reveal a more detailed answer.
