Title: Newbie i Cant get i to work

Hi i have a serius problem i cant get the e-smith server on the internet when i test it in console mode(Test Internet access) i tryed to switch the cord from the eth0 to eth1 dont work.Im getting desperate and help will be meet with a kiss on the hand .My brain is getting dry by all the reading i have tryed to do :-(

Hallo,

I had the same problems yesterday. My System doesn't work with my On-Board LAN Controller (SIS900) even though it should. After that I tried it with to other Cards, but it didn't work until i changed the PCI-Slots. Now it's running fine.

Hi René,

If you want my assistance in Danish, feel free to write me at the address listed above. I am neither a Linux nor SME Server guru, but I do have a working Server-Gateway system (with lots of add-on RPMs and a few custom templates).

You should probably start by letting us know your settings from the "Review Configuration" menu item.
