I tried to run setup by inserting boot disk and then After I type in proceed in the setup of e-smith the computer says initializing cd-rom and it gave me ERROR
message : "Does not appear to ba a REDHAT CD", although CD has e-smith image
on it.
I will appreciate your help.

I will like to add a little more to this problem. I made CD from the image file after
downloading e-smith-3.1/e-smith-3.1-cdrom.iso.gz compressed file. When I un-compressed file, it was with e-smith-3.1-cdrom.iso,
so I just put that file on the CD. Is there any further procedure to use this file to burn a CD?
I don;t see any folders on the CD except e-smith-3.1-cdrom.iso file.
I will appreciate your help.Prabhjot Gill wrote:

You will have to open the image file. Grab Wincdr/nero/Ez CD creator ... In order to burn image files to cd-rom.
Copying the image to disk does nothing. There are tons of info on the net on how to burn image files. Good luck.

If you have EasyCD Creator, look in FILE/Create CD from image. Works all the time!
