Title: Ibay's and Subdirectories

I created an Ibay, Music, for sharing files among users and al is well as long as files are in the main Ibay directory. If subdirectories are created within the IBay , for example Music/rap, the directory "rap" can be seen but entering the directory by any user shows an empty directory even though files were placed in it. Can I get some insight into this please?

You must have a permissions issue.

Check who´s the owner of rap subdir. If you need you can change it with chown U.G where U=user and G=group
