Title: Default FTP Path?
Post by: Freddie on December 28, 2002, 08:20:06 PM
Hi all,

I am new to the SME server and have a very basic question.
I have setup an i-bay for someone to use as a public web site.
Of course when they login to upload files via FTP it would help them to have the default ftp path for their username pointing to he i-bay instead of the users section (which they really would not use when the SME is used more as a public web server).

I have already made the assumption that the users directories are not published via the web server part and that is why I set up the i-bay?!

Anyone that knows if it is possible to change the default ftp path and if my assumptions are correct?

Thank you kindly!

Freddie

Try the FTP User Root addon by dungog.net, lets you chroot a user into their home dir or an Ibay, works perfectly.
