I installed DansGuardian-2.4.5-2.RH72 with dungog-dansguardian-2.4-9.noarch.rpm
on an SME 5.5 box.
I followed the instructions correctly everything seem fine but I noticed that the filter was not blocking everything according to my settings on the SME panel.
So I look at the /var/log/dansguardian/access.log. Nothing was logged.
Then I look at the /var/log/messages
and got this message
/etc/rc.d/init.d/dansguardian: touch: No such file or directory
The service seems to start fine I suppose??
Is this a bug with the 5.5 System????
Any Help would be appreciated.
Thanks

>and got this message
>/etc/rc.d/init.d/dansguardian: touch: No such file or directory
depends how you define a bug ?
i can't work out why i get this message, but it's been present for months and things work regardless, it's annoying
it wastes your time and make me look like a goose
[root@server root]# rpm -ql DansGuardian |grep init.d
/etc/rc.d/init.d/dansguardian
[root@server root]# ls -la /etc/rc.d/init.d/dansguardian
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 1067 Jan 4 21:55 /etc/rc.d/init.d/dansguardian
