Hi,

When I install the e_smith server and gateway every thing look perfect, except when I try to reach a web site, the server doesnt dial the modem, the modem is an external Us robotic and is connect to the com1, as set in the configuration setup.

I try the option to connect to the e_smith.net as a communication test, nothing seam to move, any idea?

You may have other problems, but each and every time this happened to me, it was the result of my having selected the wrong com port. Try com2, even if you "know" beyond a shadow of a doubt that the modem is really connected to com1.
