Title: virtual domain email
Post by: brianN on January 04, 2003, 07:43:17 PM
I have created a virtual domain, which has it's own i-bay and everything is working exept the user account creation for the virtual domain. I logged into the virtual domain "server-manager", however all it will create is user accounts for the primary domain on the system. What am I doing wrong??

You're not doing anything wrong, that's exactly how it works.  A user account is vaild for any domain hosted on said SME.  So, user@primarydomain.com=user@virtualdomain1.com=user@virtualdomain2.com.  Get it?

This is by design. all accounts will default work for all domains. If you wish to seperate the e-mail system see this howto: vdomain-alias-howto
